My meeting with Anne HECHE |
Anne and I at New York City, on Wednesday April 21, 2004 |
When I learnt than Anne will return to Broadway this spring, I don't hesitate.
I bought a ticket on the Internet and left for New York City.
The meeting will stay in my memory for a long time.

I am waiting for half an hour on this sidewalk, when a black Bentley slow down and
then stop in front of me. The young lady, seating at the rear of the vehicle, wears
sunglasses. She says something to the driver and then gets out, and makes her way to
the entrance of the building.
I call her.
- "Anne"
- "Yes?"
- "Can you sign my book?" I give her a copy of her autobiography "Call Me Crazy" with a pen.
- "Of course, What's your name?"
- "Daniel"
- "D-A-N-I-E-L ?"
- "Yes"
While she is signing, I take a homemade card with my name and the logo of my site and give it to her.
- "Can I give you that?"
- "What's that?"
There is a short silence. Then, she say "oh, my God!". She tells me that her husband Coley know
my site and is very pleased about it. She hesitates and then takes her cell-phone and calls
Coley.
- "Honey, I am in front of my biggest fan" (Sorry for the other fans!)
She explains him who I was, and then give me her cell-phone and Coley congratulate me.
That was amazing.

I saw her again a little later. We made photos and she gave me signed items.
I digitized this photo :
